This is my first post. I am kinda new to apple. I just got my second Iphone this summer. I want to get a apple watch. Probably don't need one but kinda want one. I wont have the money to get a new one. So I am looking at some used ones on ebay. I am considering a series 3 stainless steel space black, or series 4. I am pretty active and I work in maintenance at a school. I was thinking the tougher stainless model would hold up better. I also have a vision impairment so I was thinking the larger 44mm screen would be better for me. Also with a vision impairment I was wondering if the apple watch would be a smart purchase. I have watched several video on the apple watch and it does have option for larger text size and voice over. Any way if any of you have had both watch or have an opinion on them please let me know. IF you have not so great eye sight and have used the apple watch with success or no success please let me know. Thank you for your help
Welcome to Apple Watch Forums. If you’re going to buy a used Apple Watch the most important consideration is to make sure it is not iCloud Activation Locked to the previous owners account. You should get the newest model you can afford as it will receive updates for a longer time. You can set up the watch so that placing 2fingers on the face and holding will have the watch speak the time. You can ask SIRI many questions about almost anything, such as the current weather. You’re right in that the larger model should be easier to see. Because of this you should try for a series 4 or later as the sizes were increased compared to series 0 to series 3.
Thank you for getting back to me. What are your thoughts on the glass? Is the Sapphire glass worth it? I was reading and does not sound like their is any good screen protectors. Thanks again
