    Hi,

At times I forget my phone behind and because it's linked to my iWatch, I was wondering if exists an app (I could use) which detects the loss of the BT connection by alerting me via vibration or sound.

    Thanks.

If you swipe up to bring up the Control Centre on your Apple Watch the phone icon at the upper left will be red with a line through it if you've lost connection with your iPhone. It will also show at the top of the watch screen but it doesn't send an alert, though.

I’ve also thought that feature would be handy. But I have not found any app or settings that will do this.

Good! That means that it already exists a BT watchdog routine so, adding a couple lines of codes to make the iWatch ring, is no brain.
Is there a suggestion box for the iWatch development team where I can drop in this suggestion?

    Thank you.

No it is not. That app is for tracking missing devices not for alerting you if the Bluetooth connection is lost.

The description screenshots do show something that looks like an iPhone disconnect notification; thought it’s not the screenshot you posted.

There is nothing else in the description that suggests the feature, and nothing in the in-app purchase descriptions to suggest there are paid only features. Not that I’m doubting you, just that the app developer would do well to communicate the feature better. It’s one many would be happy to pay for, providing it’s reliable.

Or is it just the U.S. App Store that fails to give a proper description?

How is your experience using it? Are the notifications timely and reliable?

Why is there an ad in the middle of my post. Or am I the only one that sees this?

You have right! I have checked the description in Apple Store and i don’t see anything about this feature. I have paid this app only for this property. I am happy to have this one because with my Garmin left my iPhone in a coffee shop and recovery with the vibration of unpair of BT. In the Apple Watch runs fine but expend a little bite of the battery. If you are interested write me a private message and I show you it.

    Regards

I’ve seen that before on this forum but I’m using an ad blocker and don’t see ads any more.

Thanks for the report. I’ll pass on the demo offer. Perhaps the OP (Original Poster) would be interested. My habits are such that the only time I forget my phone is to leave it at home. With the Apple Watch 4 I can still make quick phone calls and use Apple Pay, so I normally don’t bother to go back for it; unless I’m going to be out and about for several hours. I also have at least one iPad in the carry bag, so other needs are present, if not always quite as convinient.

    I’m all Appled up. :)
