We are always interested in finding out how you found our site.

If you can please let us know if you found us on another forum, via Social media (twitter, facebook etc.) Google or Bing or a friend perhaps? Or any other method.

This helps us determine what areas seem to be working for us (as far as letting people know about us) or what areas we may need to work on to help get the word out.

    Thanks!

I saw the original announcement of the Forum back in September on iPad Forums and joined on the first day.

I am curious about the vision of Apple on the durability of their watch.
Do we have to throw it away after 18 months or are they providing us with upgrades ? I think a watch is something else than a phone, a pad or a book !
I bought the watch I am wearing in 1975 (!). Can't imagine wearing an Apple watch from 2015 until 2055 (and certainly not at my age !)

Just as the iPhone isn't really a phone, the Apple Watch isn't really a watch. These are merely features of a device that does much more.

You don't toss the iPhone after two years because the phone part stopped working. Chances are the original iPhone can still make and receive phone calls. You replace the iPhone because of all the other cool new features it will do.

The same will be true of the Apple Watch. If all you cared about was the watch part of the device you could keep using it for years. But that really isn't the point of the device.

Or the short version. We don't know exactly what is going to happen, but comparing traditional watches to smart watches is about as useful as comparing old wireless phones with smartphones. Those things probably still work too, but who cares?

I found this site on Google, I'm considering buying an Apple watch, I think it might help me with missing phone calls, etc.
I wear hearing aids but still miss a lot of phone calls because I don't hear the ring.

I'm planning on getting the Apple Watch Sport, space gray, with black band. I'll likely buy a couple other bands later and switch them out for different occasions.

I found it out of desperation trying to discover where my errant watch might be. As in : no , there are no pink bands on the earth. I have since calmed down.

I read about it on one of the other forums and as I got my watch yesterday , it seemed obvious to come over here too ;-) By the way , I ordered my watch on the 23d with a June delivery date..then it got bumped to May 20-June 8 .. then it was delivered yesterday !!! I still can't believe it !

Congratulations on your new Apple Watch and welcome to Apple Watch Forum!

Apple certainly wasn't exaggerating when it said customers could receive their Apple Watches sooner than originally promised.

You mean like this one? :)

Apple Watch Tips And Tricks Apple Watch Forum

Not that there's much there yet. Not too many people have them, and those haven't had a lot of time to figure out all the details.
