I have been getting good use out of the alarm app on the Watch. It always sounded when it was time to feed the dogs. LOL But now it has stopped making any sound when the time that is set occurs. I have checked the Apple Watch app on my iPhone and everywhere I can think of on the Watch itself, and I can't get the alarm to sound. There are several "Mutes" and "Do Not Disturbs," and I have them all set not to mute, but nothing seems to work. This change may have occurred after I moved the external mute button on the upper left side of my iPhone down to mute while at an event. But now that has been moved back up, of course, and I just can't get the darn alarm to sound. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Have you already gone to Settings>Sounds & Haptics on your Apple Watch and turned off the mute switch? Also, make sure that the alert volume is turned up high enough for you to hear the alerts.

Yes. That mute switch is as you showed above. Gray on the right side = off. I have also not highlighted the bell with the slash through it in glances.

Try reseting the watch. This is similar to a reset on the iPad. Hold down the crown and side button until the Apple logo appears. Nothing erased. Just a kick in the pants for stubborn watches.

One question?. Are you still getting the haptic taps when the alarm goes off, or nothing at all? (assuming you are wearing it at the time)

Thanks, twerppoet, your suggestion of resetting worked perfectly. I wasn't getting haptic taps or the alarm sound before. Not only that, but the alarm did not even display on the watch face. But all is well now. Thanks again.

No problem. I'm glad it worked.

There is a bug-fix update out for the watch today. Probably worth doing the update; though there is no mention of your specific issue.
