Yesterday I enjoyed a Professional ballgame and sat in the sun for about 2+ hours at 85+ degrees. Needless to say I was perspiring quite heavily. My iWatch 2 kept acting like having a hard shut down. It would go blank, apple logo would appear and then the pass lock feature would appear. It would work normal for a few minutes and then go through the whole cycle again and again. Out of frustration, I wiped my wrist and back of the watch with my handkerchief and it seemed the problem was solved. It is working normally today. Just wondered if this norma.?

The perspiration between the watch and your wrist probably had something to do with the problem. After wiping your wrist and the watch back were you still in the hot sunlight?

Not this exact problem but I’ve heard of problems with the heart rate monitor not working properly in such conditions.

Thank you, everything seems to be back to normal after a couple of days.
