On my Apple Watch 3, the notification tone is of a frequency that my old ears can’t hear. Is there a way to change the tone? The vibration works ok. I just can’t hear the tone. Thanks

Mine is an applewatch 2. Click settings (the gear symbol). Scroll to sounds and haptics and adjust the volume

It’s not the volume. The frequency is too high for me to hear. Wife can hear it across the room.

Hmmmm. Wondering if a lower volume might actually have a different frequency that could be more audible for you. Worth experimenting

There is no way to change the tone.

If the normal haptics are not enough, you could try turning on Prominent haptics. Won’t change the tone, but might help if you are missing notifications.
