    Hi,
I’ve just joined so apologies if this has already been covered.
I’ve always had the red dot appear on my watch for WhatsApp notifications, but since the latest update I’m not getting it anymore.
    Any ideas?
    TIA Sandie

I assume you’ve already checked your notifications in the Watch app on your iPhone, and “Mirror iPhone Alerts from” is enabled for WhatsApp.

Your Apple Watch won’t receive notifications, when your iPhone is unlocked, when your watch is not connected to your iPhone, when your watch is locked by the passcode, and when Do not Disturb is enabled. You also won’t receive WhatsApp notifications when your iPhone is not connected to a network.

If you’ve already checked all of this, and still don’t receive notifications, restart your iPhone as well as your Apple Watch.

    Hope that helps.

    You’re welcome.
They’ll certainly get it working again. :)

Just got back from the Apple store and it’s all good now.
So for future reference, in case any one else has the same problem ...
After checking that everything that should be toggled on was, they unpaired my watch from my phone and re-paired it and this seems to have done the trick

I've had the unpairing/repairing procedure work for other things as well, such as the Activity app on my iPhone not receiving updates from my Apple Watch.
