I am using REMINDERS successfully with the iPhone ... asking Siri to "add xxx to the Shopping List" works fine on the iPhone. But when I ask Siri to add it using the apple watch, she says: " You don't have a shopping list. I can create it for you on your iPhone". Of course, I already do have the shopping list on the iPhone. If I say "Hey Siri, Reminder to buy Cheerios" ... it adds it to the "default" reminders list using the watch. So the watch is connected to the iPhone OK. But I cannot get it to add to a particular list from the watch. Any ideas?

    Thank you
    Doug

Used to work. No idea why Siri is being an idiot.

If you say “Add xxx to my list” Siri will show you a list of your lists to pick from.

Well I’ll be darned...that does it. This forum really is a great go-to site for Apple Watch users. Thank you very much.

    No problem.

I’m ticked that it stopped working. I was used to adding items to my shopping list using the watch.

Apple is supposed to be adding a lot of new functionality to Siri and the watch with the next iOS update. I suspect adding items to Reminder’s lists is a casualty of their tinkering, and will be fixed as soon as it’s noticed.

You know, it DID stop. I thought it was something I was doing wrong, but I remover being able to do it. Thought it was some setting I got wrong somehow. But why can’t they put up a post somewhere as simple as yours? Great folks like you are there to help us. Thanks again.

Yep, that’s what I get so all reminders wind up in reminders. The way you showed me is working well, gives me a choice of where to put it.

It looks like it is just going into Reminders, but it ends up in my Shopping list, or wish list, stuff list bills list. Whatever list I specify.
