Im having a heck of a time making Siri respond when I raise my arm to speak. I have tried every way I know to raise my arm and very few times do I get Siri to respond I just get my “face”. What is the secret. The raise to speak setting is turned on under Siri in settings. This was a feature I was really looking to use but it has frustrated me so far. Any help appreciated.

The timing does take a bit of practice. You need to start speaking almost as soon as face lights up. I’ve also found I often need to speak a bit louder, more emphatically than when using Hey Siri.

Hey Siri still works whenever the screen is lit.

Again “twerppoet” you solved the issue. Timing was the thing I hadn’t mastered. So now it seems I get her every time. Thank you again.
